A client contacted BEMAX Legal for legal assistance in collecting a debt under a supply contract. The debt arose due to management errors in extending credit to customers—the buyer was overloaded with goods, failed to sell them on time, and was unable to pay. Initial proceedings were already underway with a state enforcement officer, but it was discovered that the debtor had no assets to repay the debt. Typically, at this stage, the case is simply closed, and the creditor acknowledges the loss.

The property was divided among the heirs, with the exception of the share in the LLC. A special inheritance procedure was established for this share. BEMAX Legal's client, an existing member of the Company, objected to the inclusion of other heirs as company shareholders.

A major foreign investor invested approximately $3 million in the construction of a building for business development. However, due to improper paperwork, the property was de jure registered to a business partner. When the investor applied for re-registration, the partner refused to transfer the rights.
